Great swims all day long from SSTY's swimmers both in preliminaries and finals. Schroeder won two events including the 13/14 500 Free by Cassandra and the 50 Free by Alex but that really doesn't tell the story. Lots of good swims from everyone and the team put down some really good Medley Relays. On to day 4...
Many great swims from the boys/men and girls/women and SSTY finds itself in 2nd place at the 2013 WI Swimming 13 & Over State Swimming Championships. SSTY's 713 points are not evenly divided however: The males have accumulated 316 points and are in 2nd place, the females are in third but have more points at 397. Regardless, lots of good work - on to day 3!
Schroeder swimmers shined brightly in the opening session of the 2013 WI Swimming 13 & O State meet. We enjoyed many podium finishes in the 1650 with the highlight being Cassandra's towering achievement winning the event in record time of 16:13 (9:48 at the 1000 also a record) She swam so crazy fast that she also ecliped the boys 13/14 record making her the fastest boy or girl ever in the State. In the 800 Free relays, SSTY won the 13/14 girls and senior men's relays! Live Results
