Four Schroeder athletes are in Indianapolis racing at Nationals. We have had six events and each has been importnat and each athlete has earned second swims in the (quite late) finals. On Saturday, Schroeder hosted it's first ever "Race to Represent our Country" event at WSAC! Alana Berlin, Maggie Dickinson, Sam Lorenz, and Ethan Schutten ran four stations as they help inspire the next generation of SSTY athletes! Alana ran an underwater kick station, Maggie ran a Battle Behind the Blocks/Team Cheer, Ethan ran turns and Sam ran starts! After the session ended, doughnuts were had and many athletes got caps/bags/water bottles signed by the four athletes! This was a great event full of Schroeder pride! We are Schroeder!!
Sydney Geboy and Adam Braunscheig both have earned NCAA Post Grad Scholarships! Sydney, a multiple time NCAA All American at Kenyon College, should be around tow n this summer before law school and Adam, also an NCAA All American, but with Emory, is working in Atlanta and plans medical school. Schroeder's 11-14 year olds closed out the Wisconsin Swimming State season with a 3rd place overall finish! Both Men and Women were 3rd overall in their respective genders. Our younger Schroeder athletes raced at the 10&U WI State Meet in Verona over the weekend, finishing 4th as a team overall. The boys were 2nd and girls 7th.
