I wanted to give a quick recap of what we discussed today because it pertains a lot to what we talk about not only with AG1/JR1, but with the whole Schroeder program. The first talk was from the national team director regarding his observations with national team athletes. The best way to describe it, in my opinion, is: they experience everything 11-14 athletes go through, but they are just bigger haha! I offered to share our “To Be my Best” sheet with...

Two groups have funded nearly 100% of the cost of replacement: Mike Kass has donated $25,000 and Wi Swimming through its facilities grant program added $10,000 to the aquisiton of new lane lines for the Schroeder pool. Huge thanks to both the Kass family and to WSI! In 2015 Stan Kass, pictured with his son Mike, donated the last set of lane lines for both LCM and SCY. Those lane lines have had a good life over...

After two days, Schroeder is in a fist fight with a fine team from NJ again this year. Schroeder is trailing in combined by a handful of points, leading in men's and trailing in womens's both by similar small margins. On Day 1 - Schroeder lead the way in both men's and women's 2 MR qualifying, scored 2 boys in the 1000 and finished 2nd and 3rd in the 800 free relay. On Day 2 - We finished the session with two blistering performances in the short relays and won...
Chandler and Dave have both had several expereinces this season with our girls and wanted to just raise the awareness among parents and athletes about regular blood work especially for female athletes. As coaches, we see athletes most days and have a feel for their effort, pace in training and progression in results and general energy levels. Our swimmers work very hard week in and week out and when perfomances do not come as expected and frustration sets in, one of the things we go to is a check list...
