Chandler and Dave have both had several expereinces this season with our girls and wanted to just raise the awareness among parents and athletes about regular blood work especially for female athletes. Over the weekend, 46 Schroeder 11-14 aged athletes competed at the Age Group State meet in Pleasant Prairie. It was a fast weekend filled with great swims and copious amounts of energy. Senior State - at WSAC - Our Schroeder Senior athletes delivered exceptional performances at the recent Senior State Championships. Schroeder won both the men's team and combined championship. Congratulations to Brody LePine, Ethan Schutten, Jack Paull, and John Paul Brostowitz for their record breaking performances. Together, they set three 15-16 State Records in the 200 Medley, 200 Free, and 400 Medley Relays. Over the weekend in fair Verona, Schroeder splashed and dashed to a 3rd place finish in the scene of Wisconsin. The meet featured over 790 total athletes and was comprised of almost all of Wisconsin! Schroeder YMCA Swim Team - Silver again in 2024! USA Swimmming recognizes performacne excellence through its annual Club Excellence Program. Among 2700 teams in USA Swimming, the top 200 teams are recognized in three catagories: Top 20 - Gold 21 to 100 - Silver 101 to 200 - Bronze Schroeder finished the 2023 year in the 52nd spot. These ranking are based on performaces done by 18 & Under athletes who have made the USA Junior Naitonal time standard or faster in the 50 M pool and in Open Water...

Work has been completed on repairs to the high roof above the dive area. The bubble machine that creates a pillow for divers to learn new tricks has been repaired, as well as a major valve in the filter for the pool. The deck, starting blocks and gutters have been power washed. The locker rooms have been cleaned up. Using the big lift, the tops of the ventilation system have been dusted. Over the previous weekend, Schroeder paid their dues time after time and emerged victorious at the 13 & Over State Championships for the first time since 2015! It was a total team effort as the women won their gender (with the 13-14 girls winning their age group) and the men placing second! Over the weekend, Schroeder traveled to Pleasant Prairie to race at the 12 & Under State Championships! As a team, we placed 2nd overall!
