All swim team athletes must be members of USA Swimming. Many are current members with valid memberships through the end of 2024. Fall is the time to become a member for 2025 if you are a returning member or if you are new to swimming. What a summer!!! Schroeder finished their summer season of racing with an epic showing at the 13 & O Wisconsin Swimming Championships! Overall, Schroeder placed 2nd with the Men winning and the 13-14 Girls winning their age group! Amanda Lotz (who raced 4700 meters!!) was 2nd for 13-14 girls high point! It was a grueling four day prelim/final meet with a lot of great racing and even more cheering! Great work to all those who raced! Over the weekend, Schroeder hosted the 12 & U Wisconsin State meet! Thank you to all families for making it a great event for all the athletes and families in the state! Schroeder raced to a 3rd place finish overall with some great swims! Lots of fun races, cheering and learning! Adino Misany was 2nd place overall for high point for 10 & U boys! Congratulations to all athletes who competed! Onto 13 & Over State at Pleasant Prairie! We are Schroeder!

Ziyad was named to Team Sudan and he will race in Paris at the Olympic Games. Ziyad has raced and represented Sudan at the World Championships and in Continental Championships. He will be a senior at Cal, is a graduate of Rufus King and began swimming competitively at Schroeder! (200 M Back, July 31)

Sam received his invitation to join Team USA for the Junior Pan Pacific Championships to be held in Canberra, Australia, August 21-24, 2024. Sam joins other Schroeder National and National Junior Team athletes including: Lindsey Highstrom, Adam Mania, Alex Dionne, William Colbert, Mitchell Friedemann, Alex Meyers and Hannah Saiz.

Over the weekend, Schroeder raced at the annual Western Great Lakes Open held at WSAC! This meet has always provided some great competition and been a favorite of many athletes. There were some great performances and team support! Overall, Schroeder took 2nd to NASA from Illinois. Sam Lorenz was up first for the Schroeder team. He raced the 100 M Back on Sunday and he did very well. Good execution and he lowered his best time in the process to 55.2 - Sam was born in 2006 and is eligible to be selected to represent Team USA at the Jr Pan Pcific Championships later this summer in Australia. Selections will be announced later this month but he was the second fastest 2006 or younger in the meet by just .1 ! Alana went second on Monday...
