2025 USA Swimming Registration

All swim team athletes must be members of USA Swimming.  Many are current members with valid memberships through the end of 2024.  Fall is the time to become a member for 2025 if you are a returning member or if you are new to swimming.

  • Returning members and their parents should go to:  USA Swimming's site to begin the process of renewing or joining for the first itme.

Helpful Tips from USA Swimming for 2025 Registration

Week 1:

 

  • Many of us have seen the OMR link led to a page with “This renewal registration is associated as an unattached swimming in."  That message can be ignored and will be fixed in an upcoming release. 

 

 

  • New members need to use the Add a New Member option (same link as above) to add a new member. Please remind them to go past the Add Family Member option to find it. They need the club link to see this option.  

 

  • Parents are not required to register. The add a new member button will ask them to register a child or themselves. They do not need to worry if they show in "the grid." This is mostly an issue right now for new parents that aren't going to the Add a New Member button. They are hitting Add Family Member, not having an ID, then getting a little lost. Clubs remind your parents that they do not need to register as a parent. If they find themselves in the shopping cart, delete it!

 

 

  • Outreach members that are RENEWING will default to Outreach. If they need to change to Premium, Flex, Seasonal, please have them use the club link for full price. 

 

  • Full price members will RENEW as full price, and can “change member type” to Premium, Flex, Seasonal based upon club/LSC availability. If they need Outreach, they will need to use the club link. 

 

  • If someone is changing from an athlete to a non-athlete role, and they don’t yet have a 2025 membership, they will use the Add a New Member option. For example, a 2024 Athlete cannot renew, or Add New Role (using that button) to a non-athlete. They need the Add a New Member option to create that membership. A 2024 Athlete can use the Add New Role because they have the existing 2025.  

 

  • Refunds require receipt numbers. Please, no refund requests without receipt numbers. 

 

  • With some increased security on how we add family members, there are some steps to help parents get contact info correctly added. If a parent gets a message indicating they can't add someone because their email doesn't exist in the members contact info, someone needs to go in and add it. The email of the logged in user (that is, the email that the login account is linked to, not their SWIMS email) is what you will add to the Contact Info.   • Tips for the new member registration: 
  • Go to hub.usaswimming.org, Create a Login, and set up your login as the parent. No athlete info in this step, just for the parent. Already have one? Great, next step! 

 

  • Click on the Club OMR link that the club provided. Missing your link? Reach out to the CLUB. 

 

  • If you aren’t already logged in, log in with the parent account.  

 

 

  • Having an issue? Please ask the Club for help first. Then the LSC if needed. The LSC can direct you if a support ticket with USA Swimming is needed.
