With the Good Year blimp circling above and on a perfect night for swimming, Ashlyn crushed it in the 200 Back breaking her on Team Record and setting a new State mark in the process. Her time now stands at 2:14.85. Tomorrow Nick goes the 100 Fly and Ashlyn and Adam are in the 50 Back.

Ashlyn moved into the C Final in the 200 back with a very fine 2:15.13 - under her own record time. Alex raced a good 200 free and while she moved up the rankings, she did not get a second swim. Adam and Nick raced well in the 50 M fly. Nick just narrowly missed getting a second swim.
Bad news / Good news is the story from day 1 prelims. Last night while warming up Hannah really jammed her hand into the lane line. She iced and wrapped the hand and tried this morning and then went to urgent care after her race. Spiral Fracture of the metacarpal - that's the bone in the hand that connects to the ring finger. Alex led off with a good swim at 56.2 in the C final and dropped .2 from her morning effort. The boys grabbed 13th in the 4 x 100 Free Relay at 3:30.24 Nick 52, Adam 51, Trevor 53 and Wes 53. Alex had a solid prelim at 26.2 so there was a possibilty to go under tonight. With a bit of Raatz inspired work Alex grabbed 3rd in the B Final and "dipped" under the barrier at 25.98 tonight in a very clean pair of swims. Great venue and ready for change over day when the big dogs roll into town tomorrow.
