Olympian Hali Flickinger Breaks Mary T Record
2016 Olympian Hali Flickinger who was a star for the York YMCA broke one of the most historic athletic records in prelims this morning at the USA National Championships. In 1981, 16 year old Mary T Meagher set one of the greatest marks in all of sport swimming a 2:05.96. This morning Hali touched the wall at 2:05.87. 28 years have passed since this former world record and current US Open record was done. View the archived footage here:
