Speedo Section 1 Day 3

 
Good Day in Iowa!  SSTY remains 4th in Combined scoring, the Men are now at 7th and the Women are holding steady at 2nd.

Highlights from finals:

The first event was the 200 M Back.  Holly Stoll raced in the C final, Katie Taylor in the B final and Ashlyn won the A final with a new Team Record!  Chandler Lewis maade the C final and Carl got second in the A final - near team record in prelims.

Daniel Kudis put together a strong race in the 400 free and made a decisive move at the 100 and won the C final.  

Carolyn Jungers swam in the D final of the 100 M breast and Gwen won the B final - both good swims!

Ashlyn finaled in the 100 M fly and Hannah snuck below the National standard to take 3rd place and a new team record.  Nick Petersen grabbed second in the 100 but more importantly he went below the National standard - his first!  We had two good 4 x 200 relays with some tired athletes.  The men and women scored in both relays.  

One more dayto go but some big swims still to come!
