Golf Outing Date Set for Friday, June 20

 

Quite a few of you have asked me about whether or not we are running a golf outing again this summer! I know apparently there is this thing called summer, and apparently its coming, but it seems to be hiding, and wont even give us a chance getting to know his pal, "Spring". But hey, I was a pretty shy kid, and it took a while for me to open up, so have no fear, we have set  FRIDAY JUNE 20th as the date for our WSAC Golf Outing! It will be taking place at the  Fire Ridge Golf Club in Grafton, WI at noon. The cost is $125 per person if you pay before June 15th and $135 afterwards.

Q: How do I sign up Adam? I cant wait!!

Q: Adam, Im a horrible golfer, and may/may still not have some clubs floating in the Milwaukee River from last year. Is this for me?

 

A: Of Course! The format for the event is a 4-person best ball, so no matter your ability, your team gets 4 shots from the best location. Let the libations fly!

 

Q: I cant make that day, my in-laws are visiting and they will be showing us a slideshow of their recent trip to the grand canyon. How can I still help?

 

A: Bummer about the in-laws. Try to spice things up with playing a sweet soundtrack during the presentation. I recommend Hall & Oats. Though, there is a way you can help! Do you know of anyone that is a golfer that might be able to come? Schroeder connections are not required! Anyone can play. Also, there are hole sponsorship options if you want to advertise your parents Accounting firm! Also, our gold medal sponsorship for the event includes a lane sponsorship for any of our meets at Schroeder this summer. (Ask Adam for sponsorship options). We also have options where you can sponsor a coach to play, or have an item you can donate to the raffle! Last year we had gift certificates from restaurants, salons, Allen Edmonds shoes, Brewer Tickets, NX Level training sessions, Harley Davidson Leather Jackets, Taylormade Golf Clubs, you NAME it. Also just ask Coach Wendy, Anne, Todd, or I if theres anything else you can do to help and well be glad to brainstorm up something for you.

 

Q: Im hungry all the time. Will you food me?

 

A: Glad you asked. Fire Ridge has a great restaurant where they are including a sandwich lunch, and we will also have a social afterwards with complimentary all you can eat appetizers (wings, nachos, chicken strips, dips, quesadillas, etc). 

 

Q: ADAM I DONT DO THE GOLF. I CANT STAND THE GOLF CHANNEL AND I CANT STAND GOOFY GOLF PANTS.

 

A: Hey, you're entitled to your opinion, but I bet you do enjoy buffalo wings, cold beers, and winning raffle items. Last year we had quite a few families show up for the social afterwards, which will begin no later than  5pm. Also, don't knock my pants, they were a gift from Mom.  

 

Q: What is your goal for this event?

 

A: Our goal is to sign up 18 Foursomes, which ends up being 72 golfers. Remember, anyone is eligible to play! We have had parents from other teams play in the event too. Nothing is off limits. Its just a great time outdoors, with refreshing drinks, and meeting all sorts of SCHROEDER FANS!
