Schroeder enjoyed a very good finals session on Saturday.  It began with Alex racing in the first round of the Shootout where she swam a strong 23.3 and then Jake raced to a 20.7.  Niether advanced but both swam faster than in prelims.  Nick swam to a 3rd place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.19.  Next up were Meghan and Gwen in the A final of the 200 Breast.  Both were just of their prelim swims but they both had two great races 2:22 (7th) and 2:18 (4th).  Adam won the 100 back at 46.3 just off his textile best, Ellis was 2nd at 47.7 and Nick grabbed 5th at 48.9.  Alex improved her 500 from prelims to 4:55.5 for 4th and Danielle was out strong but did not match her fine 5:04 from prelims in the C final.  To finish the evening SSTY's B swam a very nice 4:06 400 MR Kimmy 1:03, Meg, 1:07, Eleanor 1:01 and Danielle 54.1, The swam really well and to a new team record and in a come from behind win.  Khia 1:00, Gwen 1:03, Hannah 53.0, and Alex 50.2 for 3:47.42.  One more day and it seems the ice storm is done!
