Mania 2nd in Rio 50 Back

Adam came second in the 50 M back.  The format of the meet was a knockout format with four swimmers in the first round, then three, then two...until a champion is determined.  First out was the Olympic Champion in the 50 M Free Manaudou, then the Australian National Silver medalist.  Adam reports that he was catching the Brazilian but ran up on the lane line and lost the championship.    Adam also led off the relay but the USA Swimmers were pretty thrashed as they all made it deep into the individual competition.  Read more
