Eric Johnson has been named to help lead the Masters Program at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center.

Eric is currently the assistant coach for the Germantown High School Girls and will be the head coach of the Menomenee Falls High School boys.  He previously coached at Birmingham-Southern University as an Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach.  Johnson swam at the 2013 YMCA Master National Championships.

Johnson is originally from Seattle, Wash., and is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a four-year letter winner and two-time team captain for the Badger swim team. He is the UW-Madison record-holder in the 100-yard breaststroke, was a six-time Big 10 finalist, and NCAA qualifier. Johnson was also an Olympic trial qualifier in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.

In addition, prior to coming to the WSAC, Johnson was an age group coach and coached two Olympic trial qualifiers as well as multiple sectional champions.

Johnson is an 18-year swimming veteran, participating in high school, club (King Aquatics), and summer swim league. He has participated at every level in the sport, including zone qualifier, multiple time state champion, Big 10 finalist, NCAA qualifier, national finalist, and Olympic trials qualifier.
