Alex Meyers Advances to B Final in 100 M Free at US Open

 
Alexandra had a strong prelim swim in the 100 Meter Free at the 2013 United States Open.  Her time of 56.32 eclipsed her own team record that she had established at Sectionals a couple of weeks ago but it was also good enough to break the 17/18 WI Swimming Record of the great Michele Jesperson (BD) set in 1992.  Finals begin at 5:00 PM PST and Alex is slated to swim 5:33 PM.

Cassandra begins her racing this afternoon in the second fastest seeded heats of the 800 M free and is due to swim at 3:33 PM PST.
