Adam Mania, Swimming’s Favorite Swimmer, Video Interview
Adam Mania is the most interesting swimmer in the world…
Ok, maybe not the most interesting…unless you really know him…but he is one of the most liked swimmers on deck.
Adam swam at the 2004 Athens Olympics for Poland. In 2006 he switched to the US. He swam for the University of Wisconsin and was coached by Eric Hansen. Adam netted a Big 10 title in the 4×100 free relay and 13 All-American honors.
Adam’s a 2006 US National Champion in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM.
Adam’s famous for training only 6-8k per week, coaching full-time and somehow continuing to swim at a world-class level.
Adam’s presently finishing his masters in business and plans produce a pro swim meet for his world-class swimming friends.
