Mania Recounts in His Own Words (with his thumbs)
won the crucial duel against the brazilian by a hundredth. that allowed alexandrov, godsoe, and schneider to chill on the individuals. there was one minute in between each 50. then 4 minutes before the 200 medley relay. i got us out in the lead against brazil, alexandrov fell back just a little bit, but eugene godsoe was ablle to run down gabriel mangabeira. josh scneider took down bruno fratus on the anchor who was 4th place at the olympics just recently. USA wins the first round. in a buig upset, australia took down the mighty heralded French, and were up in the final against the US. The strategy this time was that I would go relaxed and concede victory in the 50 back, and alexandrov would have to beat the aussies in breast, which he did. this allowed euguene and josh to be relaxed on the individual events again. each individual victory is worth one point, and the relay is worth 3. so you only need to win one individual and the relay in order to advance. on the final relay it was daniel arnamnart against I, where i slipped terribly on the start, and was an arms length behind. lucky, alexandrov had a great split, and put up back in the lead. euguene godsoe and matt targett were head to head going into the anchor. josh schneider vs james `the missile`magnussen. USA wins. BOOM. that was fun. except for the fact how bad i slipped on the start on the last one
