2.4 Mile IRONMAN Practice Swim |

Come get ready for your upcoming Ironman races. Our timed 2.4 Mile Swim/Competition will be held on Saturday, August 14th, in our state of the art 50 Meter pool. Each swimmer will be swimming 4000 Meters, or 20 Laps or 40 lengths of our 50 M pool.
We will be organizing the lanes for the swim according to an individuals' seed time.
Warm-Up: 8 am
Swim Start: 8:40 am

There are some great Open Water opportunities coming up:
1. Swim For Freedom
- Lake Geneva, Sunday, August 8th, 2010
- Sign-up Online and Visit their website at: http://swim4freedom.org/
- All proceeds will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to support America’s Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special Operations personnel and their families by providing full college educations to surviving children of special operations personnel killed in combat or training and by providing immediate financial assistance to special operations personnel severely wounded in combat.
2. WSAC 2.4 IRONMAN PREP SWIM - If you are unable to make the Madison 2.4 Open Water swim the following weekend, this would be a great alternative.
- Saturday, August 14th.
- Race will begin at 8:40 am. Optional warm-ups begin at 8 am.
- Long course (50 M) Pool Setup (with Lane lines)

3. Madison Open Water Swim -
- Saturday, August 21st

4. Big Shoulders Swim -
- Saturday, September 11th
- 5K Open Water swim off of Ohio Street Beach in Chicago, IL

5. St. Croix Open Water Swim -
- Sunday, October 10th 2010
- 2 Mile or 5 Mile Fins/No-Fins categories
- We have attended this swim for the past 2 years - it's so fun!!
- More information will be out soon about our group travel to this event.
- Families/Spouses/Friends are welcome. Last year we had a family of 5 attend and it worked really well. (We love you Zuccaros!)
